How fast can you do a powerpoint presentation.

The minimum possible deadline is under 12 hours. It is best suited for small orders, such as redesigning 3-5 slides without complex graphs and visuals. Sometimes, we can fulfill a larger order but must check your instructions first. In case of such a request, please get in touch with our 24/7 support team, and they’ll tell you whether it is realistic to accommodate it before your deadline.

A 24-hour deadline is perfect for urgent orders of approximately 10 slides. However, if you need 20-40 slides done within such a period, we’ll typically divide the order among several designers who’ll follow one style to ensure design consistency.

If you’re not in a rush, the recommended deadline for standard presentations of 10-20 slides is 3-5 days . This time is enough to approve the draft with you, finalize the presentation and, if necessary, make additional changes. Remember, the longer the deadline, the lower the cost of work.

Can you redesign a presentation in a language other than English?

Yes, that’s not a problem for our professional presentation company. We have extensive experience redesigning presentations in Spanish, French, Chinese, German, and other languages. However, as long as we don’t offer translation services, the content has to be provided by you.

I'm not sure about the style. How can you help me in such a case?

You can review the completed works on our website or request our portfolio to check other work samples not available online. Also, if you have any examples of the style you like, you can provide us with a link to the website or materials or describe it in writing.

In case you have any preferences regarding the color scheme or the list of colors that should not be used, upload it with the instructions, and the designer will consider your wishes. However, if you don’t know what exactly you would like to see, you can opt for a premium business presentation design service, and our experts will prepare several design options for you to choose the one that best fits your vision.

If you have a large presentation but are not sure that the final result will satisfy you, you can first order several slides, check the result, and then assign the rest to that designer.

Can I get a draft to approve the style?

If changes are more significant and do not pertain to the initial instructions or require extensive amendments following updated guidelines, including designing extra slides, there can be an additional payment for the designer’s time and effort.

What about the rights to images and illustrations? What sources do you usually use?

At our ppt presentation design company, we usually use images and illustrations that are provided by the client. Other sources generally include photo stocks (both paid and free) and open sources.

If the client has special requirements regarding copyright and use of images (e.g., commercial presentation design), we can either select images/illustrations that are allowed to be used for such purposes, buy the rights for such use, or provide the client with links to rights purchase.

I'm not a native speaker. Can you proofread the content for a presentation?

Yes, we can. We have experienced copywriters and editors on our team who can proofread the content, improve it, create content based on your materials, or, if necessary, do research, collect additional information, and write content from scratch.

For such a task, we recommend choosing the “Presentation from your material” option and describing your wishes regarding proofreading.

Do you help with content writing? What exactly can you do?

Yes, we have experienced copywriters who can help with writing, adaptation, and summarizing of content, both the one provided by the client or created from scratch by our team.

Please note that it is very important to choose the right type of work for such services. Here’s a brief description of available options:

And Still, They Served: Black Servicewomen in World War II examines the critical roles that Black servicewomen play in the U.S. Armed Forces during World War II.

One Small Step For Women

Explore the contributions of servicewomen in support roles during the Space Race through the collection of Pearl Tucker, the Mother of aerospace nursing. Students will analyze primary sources and use critical thinking and discussion to explore various aspects of the Space Race, including the role of aerospace nurses, and consider the costs and viability of the space program.

Nearly 9,000 African American women served throughout the United States and in England under racially segregated and discriminatory conditions. Black servicewomen trained in all-Black units and were permitted only to compose a certain enlistment quota. They served largely in support roles and in positions of menial and manual labor. They were barred from the same advancement opportunities given to white women and almost entirely prohibited from serving overseas. And still, they served.

One Small Step For Women: American Servicewomen in the Space Race

This program examines the contributions of American servicewomen to the Space Race. From the late 1950s through the 1960s, the United States engaged in the Space Race against the Soviet Union, each trying to become the first country to put a man on the moon. The US and Soviet Union believed that having such capabilities would demonstrate a technological advantage over the other. NASA formed in 1958 to oversee aeronautical and space programs. President John F. Kennedy cemented America’s determination to win the Space Race in a 1962 speech in which he vowed to go to the moon by the end of the decade, demonstrating the importance of the Space Race to foreign policy.  

Early American astronauts were all men who had a military background. NASA decided not to allow women to become astronauts during this period. Although they were excluded from spaceflight, women contributed to the Space Race in supporting roles, including aerospace nursing.

Service & Suffrage: How Women’s World War I Service Won Them the Vote

This program examines the role of American servicewomen in World War I in the fight for women’s suffrage.

The women’s suffrage movement was nearly a century-long struggle that faced factionalism and opposition. The movement ended in a victory with the passage of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution in 1920, which gave women the right tovote nationwide. 

Women who served in the military during World War I demonstrated that they, like American men, were willing to sacrifice for their country, and could perform important work independently. Women’s wartime contributions, including in and alongside the U.S. Military, advanced the arguments for women’s suffrage based on civic participation to include military service. Other suffragists continuously picketed the White House, ensuring the issues were not forgotten. President Woodrow Wilson, beleaguered by protestors and swayed by women’s service, finally put his support behind the women’s suffrage movement, paving the way for the passage of the 19th Amendment.

USDA Invests Nearly $4.1 Million in Risk Management Education for Farmers, Including Underserved and Organic Producers

WASHINGTON, August 8, 2024 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today announced it is awarding nearly   $4.1 million to organizations and outreach efforts to educate underserved, small-scale, and organic producers on farm risk management and climate-smart farm practices. The funding from USDA’s Risk Management Agency (RMA) provides assistance through its Risk Management Education Partnerships for organizations, such as nonprofits and land grant universities, to develop training and resources for producers about risk management options.  

“This funding and these partnerships are key to the success of our outreach and education efforts in communities that historically have not had access to training about risk management options. Our Risk Management Education Partnerships are part of USDA’s broader efforts to ensure equity and access to programs,” said RMA Administrator Marcia Bunger during a virtual event announcing the 2024 recipients. “We need to work with growers, and livestock producers to provide them with the training and resources about risk management options and how to apply them to their farming businesses, and these partnerships will help us do just that.” 

This nearly $4.1 million investment builds on the $13 million that RMA has already provided in partnerships since 2021. RMA advertised available funding in January 2024 and reviewed 41 applications. 

This year’s partnership projects will reach every state in the nation, including eight state-specific, four regional, and three national programs. Out of the 15 organizations receiving funding, six are new partners and nine are current or former partners, including non-profits and university extensions, among others. 

One of the 2024 awardees, Right Risk, LLC, a non-profit group dedicated to providing top notch risk management education will continue their outreach work. “The funding we’ve received through our Risk Management Education partnership will allow us to continue outreach to Alaskan producers,” said Jeff Tranel, Owner and Chief Financial Officer for Right Risk, LLC. “We use on-site trainings, recorded presentations, newsletters, one-on-one coaching, printed materials, and the Right Risk Alaska-specific website to educate producers in Alaska about risk management options.” 

The 2024 awardee organizations and their projects include:  

• Cross Over Community Development – Provides comprehensive educational sessions on production, marketing, financial, legal and human risks geared to small-scale immigrant farmers. 
• Georgia Organics – Offers outreach and educational programing to organic and underserved farmers in Georgia about risk management options, business strategies and record keeping.  
• Napa Valley Grapegrowers – Provides risk management education to 500 Napa wine grape producers on: climate smart agriculture, organic and specialty crop farming, Crop Insurance 101 and water conservation.  
• Oregon Tilth – Increases awareness, understanding, and use of crop insurance and risk management tools by organic producers and those transitioning to organic production.  
• Northeast Organic Farming Association – Supports Vermont farmers by increasing their knowledge of climate-smart agriculture, risk management tools and crop insurance. 
• Right Risk, LLC – Develops multi-faceted approach to assist Alaskan producers understand and implement crop insurance and risk management strategies to improve their opportunities for success.  
• Rural South Institute – Builds resilient farm operations through increased participation in crop insurance and adoption of value-added and climate-smart agricultural practices.  
• University of Arkansas – Delivers workshops that support young Native American beginning farmers and ranchers by equipping them with culturally appropriate risk mitigation strategies focused on climate resilience and strengthening local Tribal food economies.  
• University of Arkansas, Division of Agriculture – Provides online and in-person Train-the-Trainer workshops, including all 1890 Land Grant Institutions on the fundamentals of federal crop insurance.   
• University of Connecticut –  Delivers program designed to mitigate financial and production risks through on-farm tours, online classes and a crop insurance decision application tool for producers.  
• University of Maine – Educates farmers about mitigating risks due to climate events, pest outbreaks, market changes and poor business skills through increased awareness and understanding of federal crop insurance programs. 
• University of Nevada, Reno – Assists producers understanding of existing and emerging federal crop/livestock insurance programs in Nevada and throughout the West while focusing on local and regional food systems.  
• RMA Southeast Ambassador – designed to strengthen the agency’s outreach, engagement, and impact within the agricultural community by creating channels for two-way communication and feedback, ensuring programs meet the needs of underserved agricultural communities in 13 states in the Southeast region.  
• Tribal Ambassador – designed to strengthen the agency’s outreach, engagement, and impact to better meet the unique agricultural needs of farmers and ranchers within Tribal communities.
• Navigator Learning Platform – partnership with Custom Ag Solutions to strengthen technical assistance to underserved producers by training specialists tasked with providing outreach and technical assistance on key topics related to crop insurance.

NKY History Hour: Fast Food: A Lot Older Than You Think

If you thought fast food only dates back to McDonald’s and Kentucky Fried Chicken, think again! The roots of fast food began in the late 1800s, as American industrial and office workers sought quick, convenient meals during their lunch breaks.   Join Behringer-Crawford Museum’s next virtual NKY History Hour on Tuesday, August 20, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., as historian Paul Tenkotte takes you on a journey through the origins and evolution of fast food in his presentation, Fast Food: A Lot Older Than You Think.   While many associate fast food with the rise of modern giants, its story stretches much further back in time. Tenkotte will explore how the fast food phenomenon was born out of necessity and has since grown into a billion-dollar industry. From the introduction of square little hamburgers to the global empire it is today, this engaging presentation will offer a fresh perspective on the culinary revolution that has shaped American culture and cuisine.

Paul A. Tenkotte, PhD is a Professor of History at Northern Kentucky University. He has published 16 books, contributed chapters and essays to 13 additional books, and written/edited more than 600 articles and book reviews for a wide range of publications. In addition, he has participated in 22 television documentaries, including his 2018 national PBS debut, Ten That Changed America: Engineering Marvels. Dr. Tenkotte’s textbook, The United States since 1865: Information Literacy and Critical Thinking, was published in 2022 by Kendall Hunt. He is also editor of the weekly “Our Rich History” column in the NKyTribune, an online publication of the non-profit Kentucky Center for Public Service Journalism. Currently, Tenkotte is co-directing a non-profit regional initiative of the Kenton County Public Library (KY) entitled ORVILLE (Ohio River Valley Innovation Library and Learning Enrichment.)

New Castle County's fire departments are struggling. The solution? It may take some time

Kenn Dunn, deputy chief administrator of New Castle County's government, knew last April that at least two of the county's 21 fire companies were struggling.

In his briefing to the County's Fire Association during a meeting last April, Dunn relayed that two companies had privately expressed concerns that they were "in trouble" and were unsure if they would be able to stay afloat for more than the next two years, according to meeting minutes from this gathering.

Dwindling volunteer numbers leading to rising personnel costs, rising insurance costs and inflationary impacts on fire apparatus and equipment have made it difficult for fire companies in Delaware's most populous county to operate.

The New Castle County Fire Service, tasked with providing fire and emergency medical services to a majority of the county's nearly 581,000 residents, has called for New Castle County's government to not only supplement their services the way it has for other public safety departments like police and emergency communications, but to restructure the way fire companies make budgetary requests.

In October 2023, a budget amendment was passed, allocating $90,000 for a third-party consulting firm to conduct a financial feasibility assessment on the county's fire companies.

In the meantime, County Executive Matt Meyer, in his most recent budget proposal for the 2025 fiscal year, proposed a total of $5.2 million go to the county's fire service.

But the service's leadership says it just isn't enough.

How much have costs increased?

Dennis Godek, chairman of the New Castle County Fire Service's Leadership Committee, has seen firsthand how the operation costs for fire, rescue and EMS companies have gone up over the last 54 years.

Insurance costs have risen 125%, vehicle maintenance costs have increased 49% and fuel has increased 50% over the last four years alone.

Fire engines and ladder trucks range from around $1.5 to $2 million and ambulances cost a minimum of $250,000. While these machines can last up to around 20 years, they can take about two to three years to be delivered after placing an order.

In order to keep up with stricter response time requirements, fire services over the past two decades have had to hire twice as many career firefighters to continuously staff their stations. Today, there are around 200 career firefighters throughout the county, leading to higher personnel costs.

It is also common practice now for multiple companies to respond to a single call due to limited resources. If a structure fire happens under Elsmere’s jurisdiction, chances are firefighters from nearby stations Five Points and Minquas would also show up to the call.

But the largest portion of the fire company’s funds come from property insurance surcharges, which provide around $800,000 for each fire company to use.

“No fire company in this county can operate on the funds appropriated from these sources in today’s world,” Godek said.

Proposed increase to fire companies 'an insult'

While no official concerns were made or actions were taken, the concerns brought up during the New Castle County Volunteer Fire Service meeting last April was one of the first signs of immediate concern for the New Castle County Fire Service’s long-term sustainability.

Last year, County Executive Matt Meyer's budget increased the fire service’s funding by 3%, and later tacked on an additional 5.69% bump via a budget amendment. This year’s budget proposal in March recommended an additional 3% increase in funds to the fire service, adding around $5.23 million in county funds for the 21 fire companies that make up the New Castle County Fire Service.

In the past four years, Meyer has set aside nearly $35 million for the county's fire service, including covering certain housing and medical costs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Federal grants and funds from the state and county combined add up to around $7 million per year for the 21 companies to use. While it’s not usually distributed equally among the companies, it averages out to around $400,000 per company.

In response to the calls for more funding, New Castle County Government contracted consulting firm FACETS to perform a feasibility study on the county’s 21 fire companies. Results are expected in October.

"Our fire service budgeting is changing with decreased volunteerism and revenues that do not keep up with inflationary costs, and this is the reason why we're doing FACETS study," Meyer said, noting he wants to see the results before making further decisions. "However we intend to provide emergency funding to companies in dire straits if service levels will be impacted in any way before the study is complete.”

Along with the fire service, the County’s Police Department budget also saw a 4.5% recommended increase for funding. Meyer proposed raising the starting salary for New Castle County Police Department officers to $72,000. And the county’s emergency communications program saw a 12% bump in its funding for the most recent budget proposal.

While the fire commission publicly commended the increased budget for police, paramedics and emergency communication departments in the county, Godek called the fire service’s budget proposal an “insult” and “unacceptable” in his presentation to County Council’s Finance Committee.

What do the fire companies need?

On May 2, the New Castle County Fire and Ambulance Advisory Board presented a budget request to New Castle County’s Finance Committee on behalf of the county’s 21 fire companies that make up the New Castle County Fire Service.

To Godek, this means the establishment of a "permanent and consistent" funding mechanism for the New Castle County Fire Service across all levels of government.

For decades, the way fire service budgets have been granted in New Castle County was with increases of a few percentage points, if that, to the previous year's total budget. The specific financial or operational needs of the 21 fire companies typically aren't spelled out in budget requests to the county.

During a County Budget Hearing presentation, Godek called on the county to make a “one-time, interim” payment of $13.5 million to the Fire Service while they await the results of the feasibility study. This number was presented to New Castle County Council by Council President Karen Hartley Nagle.

An additional request was made to increase funding to the Special Operations Teams, tasked with marine rescues, collapse and confined space rescue, and other highly specialized jobs, from $28,000 to $100,000.

Councilman Bill Bell, along with other members of council, said the best course of action would be to wait until the FACETS study is complete before nearly doubling the fire service's budget.

In his proposed budget amendment, Bell posited that around a $1.6 million increase to the fire service's ambulance funds would be enough to sustain the corporations until the October release of FACETS study results, which coincides with the beginning of planning for the next year's budget.

Discussions from council members mostly conceded that it would be best to wait for the results of the financial feasibility study before allocating a large amount of funds to the fire service, and the $1.6 million proposed by Bell is better than nothing, according to Godek at the budget hearing last Thursday.

"We believe that we put up justification for our original request, but we're practical and interested in what we can get... but we have to get something that council will support," Godek said. "There truly is a crisis."

The Teacher Development Symposium at NUFS welcomes two types of proposal:

Short Research Presentation (25 minutes)

Nagoya University of Foreign Studies Teacher Development Symposium

Time: 1pm - 6pm JST

These presentations showcase research into areas closely connected to the profession of language teaching. Ideally, presentations will allow for a short time at the end of the presentation for questions and comments.

Practice-oriented Presentation or Workshop (25 minutes or 1 hour)

These sessions are focused more on expanding the toolkit of practicing teachers. Typically, these sessions should be shorter (25 minutes) presentations of successful classroom activities / course programs / professional development systems or longer (1 hour) workshop-style sessions that have a more interactive and hands-on approach.
