AIOU LMS Stands for Allama Iqbal Open University Learning Management System. It is an online CMS that helps students learn and study using their computers or smartphones. It’s like a virtual classroom where you can login and access your course materials, watch videos, take quizzes, and interact with your teachers and classmates. It makes learning easier and more convenient because you can do it from anywhere with an internet connection. So, whether you’re at home, in a cafe, or even on the bus, you can keep up with your studies through AIOU Aaghi LMS.

How to Login AIOU Aaghi LMS Portal?

Visit aaghi lms portal official website:.

First, open your web browser and type in this web address: https://aaghi.aiou.edu.pk/ . This will take you to the homepage of the Aaghi LMS Portal. Look for the link that says “Allama Iqbal Open University Aaghi LMS Portal” and click on it. This will bring you to the login page of the portal. Click on the button that says “log-in.”

Now, you need to enter two things: your username and your password. Your username is usually provided by your school or university. After typing your username, click the button that says “sign-in.” Then, you’ll need to enter your password. For most students, their default password is their AIOU roll number. Once you’ve typed in your password, click the “sign-in” button again.

If you see a message saying “your account does not exist,” it means there might be a mistake in your username or password. Double-check them to make sure they’re correct. If you’re still having trouble, you might need to create an AIOU Aaghi LMS Account.

Once Logged In

Once you’re successfully logged in to your AIOU Aaghi LMS account, you can do several things:

Manage Assignments :

This means you can keep track of all your assignments in one place. You can see what assignments you have to do, when they’re due, and if you’ve already completed them.

Upload New Assignments :

Your courses are like your classes. Here, you can access all the materials you need for each of your courses. This includes things like lecture notes, reading materials, and videos.

See Assignment Results :

After your teacher has graded your assignments, you can see how you did. This is where you’ll find your grades and any feedback your teacher has given you.

Attend Workshops :

Sometimes, there might be extra workshops or sessions that you can attend to help with your learning. You can find information about these workshops here.

See Results :

This is where you can see all your academic results. It’s like a report card that shows how you’re doing in all your classes.

Take Lectures :

If there are any recorded lectures or live sessions for your courses, you can find them here. This is where you’ll go to watch or listen to your lessons.

All these features are designed to help you with your studies and make it easier for you to learn and stay organized.

How to Create Account on AIOU LMS?

Creating an account on AIOU Aaghi LMS Portal is a bit different. Here’s how it works:

Who Can Create an Account ?

Not everyone can make an account on Aaghi LMS. Only students and tutors of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) can do this.

How Accounts are Created?

When you become a student at AIOU, the university itself makes an account for you on Aaghi LMS. They’ll generate a special ID for you, called an LMS ID. After that, they’ll send you your username and password through email and SMS to the phone number you provided when registering.

New Students:

So, if you’re a new student at AIOU, you won’t need to create your own account on Aaghi LMS. The university takes care of it for you. All you have to do is wait for them to send you your login details. Keep an eye on your email and phone for this message.

How to Change the Aaghi LMS Portal Password?

Allama Iqbal Open University makes a special ID for students on the Aaghi LMS Portal and sets the password using the student’s roll number. But if you want, you can change your password. Here’s how you can do it to keep your information safe:

1) Visit Aaghi LMS Portal

First, open your web browser and go to the Aaghi LMS Portal. You can do this by typing in the web address provided by your university.

2) Log In to Your Account

Once you’re on the portal’s homepage, log in to your account using your username and password. If you’ve forgotten your password, there’s usually an option to reset it.

3) Access Your Profile

After logging in, look for the profile icon. It’s usually located on the top right corner of the page. Click on it to access your profile settings.

4) Go to Preferences

In the list of options that appear, find and click on ‘preferences.’ This is where you can change settings related to your account.

5) Change Password

Inside the preferences section, you’ll see different tabs. Look for the one labeled ‘user account’ and click on it. Here, you’ll find the option to ‘change password.’

6) Type Old and New Password

To change your password, you’ll need to type in your old password first. Then, enter your new password in the appropriate field. Make sure to choose a strong password that’s hard for others to guess.

7) Confirm New Password

After typing your new password, you’ll need to enter it again in a separate field to confirm that you’ve typed it correctly.

8) Save Changes

Once you’ve entered your old and new passwords, click on the ‘Save Changes’ button. This will save your new password, and it will be updated for your Aaghi LMS Portal account.

9) Remember Your New Password

After changing your password, make sure to remember it for later when you log in to the Aaghi LMS Portal again. It’s a good idea to write it down somewhere safe or use a password manager to keep track of it.

AIOU Assignment Submission On Aaghi LMS: Step By Step Guide

Are you struggling to submit your AIOU assignment submission on Aaghi LMS ?

Are you a new student of AIOU, or do you find difficulty in AIOU assignment submission? No matter whether you are trying to submit the assignment using a desktop, laptop, or mobile. In this post, we will explain and share all the steps on how to submit an assignment on AIOU Aaghi LMS.

Table of Contents

How to AIOU Assignment Submission On Aaghi LMS?

If your assignment is complete and you want to submit it online on the LMS you can follow the below steps. Before submitting the assignment you need to make sure that the assignment is typed in MS Word not hand-written. If your assignments are hand-written you need to send them via post office to your AIOU Tutor .

  • Log In to the LMS
  • Go to my courses option
  • Choose your course
  • Click on the Assignment Button
  • Click on Add submission
  • Choose file
  • Check the size of the file

#1- Lon-In to The LMS

The first step to submitting AIOU Assignment Online is to log in to your AIOU account. The account credentials will be shared with you when you first time enroll in any program. They will either ask you to sign up on the LMS or they provide the credentials by themselves.

In most cases, the students need to create their account using all the original details they provided to the university at the time of admission. All the details will be verified and cross-checked with the details which you provided to the university. If any of the single details are mismatched your account will not be approved and it will be rejected by the LMS automatically.

#2- Go To My Courses Option

Once you login successfully to the LMS the next step is to go to the My Course option showing on the page. In this section, you can see the course in which you are currently enrolled. You can check all the subject codes and other details related to your degree program.

#3- Choose Your Course

In the course section you need to choose the course for which you want to submit the assignment. Choose the correct course here otherwise, you can not complete the submission process.

#4- Click On The Assignment Button

Find the assignment button in the same section. Click on the assignment button which will open a new pop-up where you can choose the file from your device to submit.

#5- Click on Add submission

Once you choose the assignment file from your device you are ready to submit it to the university. You need to make sure that the file is ready and available on the device from which you are trying to upload it.

You can use your mobile device, desktop, or laptop to upload the file to the LMS.

#6- Check The File Size

Make sure the file size does not exceed the allowed size. Your file size should not exceed 5 MB. If the file size is more than that you need to make it small. Remove all the unnecessary lines and pages from the page to make it less than 5 MB.

#7- Reconfirm

At this point, you are ready to submit your assignment but I personally suggest you check all the details once again and make sure everything is done correctly. Because once you submit it you cannot revert it.

If you are sure that you did everything correctly you can just click on the submit button and your assignment will be submitted to your assigned tutor.

There is no more step you need to do. The LMS is automated in a way that your assignment will be directly received by your tutor. Once he/she checks and updates the marks on the LMS you can check the assignment marks later.

Prioritizing LMS Requirements Using the MoSCoW Method

Author Name | June 14th, 2016

A very useful technique is to use a meaningful word set such as the MoSCoW method.

Introduction

To make the most informed decision when evaluating and selecting a Learning Management System, the business and technical requirements need to be properly prioritized.  A very useful technique is to use a meaningful word set such as the MoSCoW method.

The meaning of the MoSCoW word set helps stakeholders understand what they are doing during prioritization in a way that other methods of prioritization do not.

The first step to evaluating potential Learning Management Systems is to develop a clear understanding of the requirements and their priority. This helps everyone understand the most important requirements and objectively compare systems that meet the requirements.

Traditionally, requirements are ranked Low, Medium or High. In another common prioritization method they are assigned a numeric value. However, when using either of these methods, every requirement can be ranked as important. After all, they are important or they wouldn’t have made the list of requirements.

So what is the best method for creating a prioritized list of requirements? The MoSCoW method can help. MoSCoW stands for MUST, SHOULD, COULD and WOULD/WON’T:

M – MUST have this requirement to meet the business needs.

S – SHOULD have this requirement if possible, but project success does not rely on it.

C – COULD have this requirement if it does not affect anything else in the project.

W – WOULD like to have this requirement later, but it WON’T be included this time.

The O’s in MoSCoW are added to make the acronym pronounceable, and are often left in lowercase to show they don’t stand for anything.

The use of MoSCoW was first developed by Dai Clegg of Oracle UK Consulting; in CASE Method Fast-Track: A RAD Approach; although he subsequently donated the Intellectual Property Rights to the Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM) Consortium.

Although developed as means of prioritizing requirements for the software development process, the MoSCoW method can be adapted to the Learning Management System selection process.

MoSCoW Prioritization Method

MoSCoW as a prioritization method is used to decide what requirements must be included and what requirements are optional for success. Unlike a numbering system for setting priorities, the words have specific meaning. This makes it easier to discuss what’s important.

The MUST requirements are non-negotiable and have to be delivered. Failure to deliver even one of the MUST requirements will likely mean the project has failed.

Beyond that, the goal is to find a system that provides as many of the SHOULD requirements as possible. COULD and WOULD/WON’T requirements are ‘nice to have’ and do not affect the overall success of the system selection process.

Definitions of the Word Set

All requirements are important, but they must be prioritized to deliver the greatest and most immediate business benefits. While it’s desirable to find a system that provides all of the M, S and C requirements, it is generally not possible.

Requirements labeled as MUST have to be included in the first implementation for the project to be a success. If even one MUST requirement is not included, the project delivery would be considered a failure. Think of MUST as the Minimum Usable SubseT.Example: The LMS must keep a record of an individual learner’s learning activities.

SHOULD requirements are as important as MUST, although SHOULD requirements are often not as critical or have workarounds, allowing another way of satisfying the requirement. They are important and of high value to the user.Example: The LMSshould allow a manager to assign learning activities to a group of learners based on their job title.

Requirements labeled as COULD are less critical and often seen as nice to have. The project is still considered a success if the functionality is not included.Example: The LMS could send out notifications to an individual that his or her certification is going to expire within 90 days.

WOULD/WON’T (W)

WOULD/WON’T requirements are either least-critical, lowest-payback items, or not appropriate for the first implementation. These are requirements that stakeholders want to have, but have agreed will not be included in the first implementation.Example: The LMS won’t support printing of certificates in the first release but may do so in the next phase.

The examples in the table above demonstrate that the Learning Management System features have been discussed in a decreasing order of priority – from what the system must have, to what it should have, could have and won’t have.

A properly prioritized list of requirements includes a healthy number of Should Have and Could Have requirements. Typically, no more than 50% of the requirements are prioritized as Must Have.

Implementing the Method

The process described below is employed after all requirements have been gathered and agreed upon by all stakeholders.

  • Using a common format, distribute the requirements to all stakeholders.
  • Each stakeholder assigns priorities to the requirements that fall under their purview.
  • Assemble all stakeholders.
  • Agree on a decision-making process for reaching consensus.
  • Display the requirements and prioritize each one based on the input of the stakeholder(s).
  • If multiple stakeholders have different opinions on the priority assignment of a requirement, utilize the agreed upon decision-making process to reach consensus.
  • Finalize and publish the list of prioritized requirements.

Traditionally, requirements are ranked Low, Medium and High. Or they are assigned a numeric value. However, when using these methods, everything has to potential to be ranked #1 or High.

The MoSCoW prioritization method is used to decide what requirements must be included and what requirements are optional for success. Unlike a numbering system for setting priorities, the words have specific meaning. MoSCoW stands for:

MUST have (or Minimum Usable Subset)

SHOULD have

WON’T have (but WOULD like in future)

The method provides a common language for all stakeholders and focuses attention on what matters most to the business.
