In each section below, you’ll find information on how to start playing games as well as the biggest pros and cons I found for each site.

If you’re interested in simple online versions of classic games, 247 Games is the perfect resource for you. On the home page under “Featured Games,” you’ll find seasonal versions of all your favorite classic games including backgammon, blackjack, checkers, chess, mahjong, solitaire, sudoku, word search and more. Also, you can browse the games by category .
All of the games on 247 Games are completely free, and you won’t need to create an account in order to access any features. I didn’t run into any ads while I was playing games on this website.
In addition to the desktop version, you can visit the mobile version of the website on your smartphone or tablet to access the same games without having to download apps.
Some text.. -->Some text.. --> Single-player games Online (computer browser), downloadable (desktop) and mobile (phone/tablet browser)
The Addicting Games website offers thousands of games in several categories including action games, easy games, cute games, brainteasers & quizzes and card games.
When you visit the website, you’ll see ads on the home screen and on the sides of the page while you’re playing. But at least for me, they didn’t noticeably impact gameplay or user experience.
There’s an option to upgrade to a paid “Game Pass” for an ad-free experience and early access to new games, but it isn’t required to play what you’ll see on the site. You can create a free account to keep track of your high scores and favorite games.
If you visit the website on your smartphone or tablet, you can play many of the same games without having to download apps. Some of the games are available only on the desktop version of the website.

Agame.com offers thousands of online games including single-player and multiplayer modes. Some of Agame’s most popular categories include puzzle games, solitaire games and .io games. You’ll also find dress-up games, racing games and other games for people of all ages.
You can play all of the games for free without having to create an account, but expect to see a few advertisements. In fact, I had to watch as many as three video advertisements (10-30 seconds each) before playing some games.
There’s a huge variety of fun games on this site that will work on your computer, smartphone or tablet in your browser. You won’t have to download anything to play.
If you do want to create an account, you can. With an account, you can invite friends and add other members playing online.
Some text.. -->Some text.. --> Games available as apps; MMO games Online (computer browser) and mobile (App Store, Google Play)
Armor Games is another great resource for finding free online games in categories including MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online), strategy, adventure, action, puzzles and more.
Many of the games that you’ll find online at Armor Games are also available as apps for iOS and Android devices, which means you can download them to your mobile device and continue playing away from the computer.
I was impressed with the variety of games on this website. While you won’t find many well-known games like blackjack or checkers, you will find a lot of unique and interesting games created by Armor Games and independent developers.
You can create a free account on the website to keep track of your high scores and favorite games, but the account isn’t necessary to play most games.
Some text.. -->Some text.. --> Non-intrusive ads, online and mobile games Online (computer browser) and mobile (phone/tablet browser)
CrazyGames is another great website to check out if you’re looking for fun online games. New games are added all the time in popular categories including adventure, arcade, puzzle, sports and more.
My favorite thing about CrazyGames is that you can play without interruptions from intrusive ads. You’ll see ad banners on the page and maybe a short video before you get started, but nothing majorly distracting. I played a few games on this site and I was impressed by how quickly I was able to play without ads.
You can access CrazyGames from any browser including your computer, phone or tablet. CrazyGames had an excellent mobile experience when I tried it out with my iPhone.

Free Online Games (FOG) allows you to play games for free on your computer and on your mobile device without having to download any apps. You’ll find a selection of 3D games, adventure games, defense games, driving games, flying games, multiplayer games and more.
While the most popular games on this website seem to be more action-oriented, you can still find classic games like sudoku and chess by searching for them using the search bar at the top of the screen. Additionally, you can browse the games by category under the “More Games” tab.
During the time I spent on FOG, I saw a few ads for other games on the site as well as video advertisements during breaks in gameplay. While I did have to disable my ad blocker to play, the ads that I saw weren’t enough to be a major part of the experience on this website.
If you want, you can create a free account using your email address, a username and a password in order to keep track of your progress and rank on high-score boards. But it isn’t required to play the games on the site.
Some text.. -->Some text.. --> Independently-developed games, apps and community Online (computer browser) and mobile (App Store, Google Play)
Kongregate offers online games in many categories including action, multiplayer, adventure, strategy and puzzles. You may have to create an account to play some games on this website, but it’s completely free and easy to create one.
When you visit the desktop version of the website, you’ll see ads across the top and bottom of the page while you’re playing games as well as a few on the front page. For me, they didn’t drastically impact the overall experience. If you visit the mobile version of the website, you’ll be redirected to the app store to download games to your device.
Independent game developers can also upload games to Kongregate, which gives you access to thousands of unique titles.
Some text.. -->Some text.. --> Classic puzzles, casino games and card games Online (computer browser) and mobile (phone/tablet browser)
MSN Games is also known as Zone.com, and it offers single-player and multiplayer games in a variety of categories including puzzles, word & trivia, action & arcade games and card & board games.
While I was browsing the available games, I found that some full versions were available for free while other games were available only as free trials or pay-to-play options. You can click the “Free online” tab to filter your results.
You can visit the website on your phone or tablet and play available games for free in the browser, but the format wasn’t the best for my iPhone. On a tablet or a device with a bigger screen, I think the games would have run much more smoothly.

You don’t need an account to play games on Pogo. It offers board games, card games, hidden object games, poker games, puzzles and more.
If you use an ad blocker, you may be asked to disable it before playing select games on Pogo. While there were video ads before games and during breaks in gameplay, they didn’t significantly hinder the experience for me. You can sign up for a paid membership that offers ad-free gameplay, but it isn’t necessary to enjoy the site.
If you want to save your progress on the games, you’ll need to create an account, but it’s free.
Some of the games on Pogo are also available on mobile devices and tablets. Unfortunately, some games are only available as free trials and require users to pay to continue playing. Still, there are tons of completely free options that make Pogo a free gaming website worth a visit.

If you haven’t found your fix at any of the other websites listed here, try Shockwave. You’ll find a variety of online and downloadable games in categories including puzzles, hidden object games, strategy games, racing games, card & board games, adventure games and more.
While there were a few advertisements on the home screen and during gameplay, I was able to leave my adblocker running through several games before being asked to disable it. Video advertisements did pop up periodically during breaks in gameplay, but I didn’t feel like it took away from the overall experience.
There are dozens of websites that you can visit to find free online games. If you’re looking for simple online versions of classic games, I would recommend checking out 247 Games . Kids will find a big selection on Addicting Games , Agame and FOG . If you’re hoping to find online games that are also available on a mobile browser or as an iOS/Android app, check out Armor Games , CrazyGames and Kongregate .
Keep in mind that you won’t have to create an account to play games on most of these websites, but if you do, the accounts are easy and free to make.
As you visit different links, I recommend keeping a simple, free ad blocker installed on your computer or browser . You may have to disable it to play select games, but it’s still worth having if you plan on visiting a few different websites.

I've tried every amazon reading subscription: here's the best choice, the 7 best cloud gaming services to stream video games.
If you're looking for free online games to play with friends, you've come to the right place. We're listing some games two people can play on the same computer, and we also have titles you can play even if you're worlds apart.
Better yet, all you need to play these games is a browser window. You can't beat these titles if you want good, clean fun. So, let's get started.
These two-player browser games have you facing off against a friend while using the same computer. Better yet, you can also play many of these titles on your smartphone. If you want to know how, check out our guide on playing PC games on your mobile device .
All of these games are pretty lightweight and shouldn't put much stress on your system. But to be sure, you might want to see how to optimize your Windows 10 PC for gaming and performance.
It might be called 8 Ball Billiards Classic (8BBC), but the game is actually just virtual pool. You play in turns and have to pocket stripes or solids, depending on which type you first sink into a hole. Although it's a mouse-based game, it's surprisingly easy to play on a laptop touchpad.
First, you have to line up the shot using the guideline indicators. Then, move the mouse to the strength meter, pulling back the stick to the desired amount of power you want to hit with. It's one of the best free pool games to play with friends online.
Gunball is like soccer, only with guns. In this pixel-art game, you and your friend control two on-screen characters. Each has a gun and a goalpost to protect, and a big red ball is in the middle. Shoot the ball into the opponent's goal to score a point. The first to score five points wins.
As far as 1v1 browser games are concerned, this browser game is an excellent example of simplicity in game design. You'll need to move around the screen rapidly to shoot and defend simultaneously, and playing with a pal is a lot of fun.
Comet-like fireballs are falling from the sky. You play as the blue or red square smiley on the ground. Move left and right to avoid being burnt to a crisp. Sounds easy, right? You might be surprised. It's a lot of fun, in any case.
What makes it difficult is the two-player competition. Your opponent can't go beyond you, so you must use your character to push or block your opponent as a fireball rains down upon them. It's a deliciously evil game, one of our favorite two-player online games to play when you've got a score to settle.
Most two-player online games focus on a 1v1 dynamic. Instead, Gravity Shift is one of those 1v1 browser games that forces you to team up to solve physics-based puzzles. Each player controls an on-screen character, one with the WASD keys and the other with the arrow keys.
In each level, you'll need to move the characters so all buttons are pressed, opening the portal to the next level. You can also find gravity inverting tiles to change your character's gravity. It's all about coordination and puzzle-solving as a team.
Not all two-player games online are simple. In Money Movers, you play two brothers who are staging a jailbreak. Each level takes you further out of prison as you use the abilities of each brother to solve the puzzle and get to the exit.
The big burly brother can pick up and throw objects but is less agile than the younger one. The little brother is fast and can jump high. Using a combination of their abilities, you'll need to flip switches, avoid or incapacitate guards, and think of clever ways to get out of a variety of jams.
Some levels are pretty tough, and you and your friend will have a great time figuring them out. As they say, two heads are better than one.
Plus, once you're done with the game, there are two sequels to enjoy. Check out Money Movers 2 and Money Movers 3 if you can't get enough.
Pong 2 is an online recreation of the classic game Pong. Each player controls one paddle on opposite sides of the screen as the ball zips back and forth in between. Pong 2 is one of the best online Pong games because of how customizable its settings are.
You can change both players' ball speed and paddle speed; we recommend 15-20 for the ball speed and 10 for the paddle speed. You can also change the background and the color of the paddles.
Simply set an objective of points to declare the winner and begin playing. One player controls themselves with the up and down arrow keys, while the other uses W and S.
Bowman is an archery game where you aim to hit the opponent by estimating the correct trajectory of your arrows. The concept is relatively simple, but what makes the game so much fun is finding the right angle and amount of force to put in your shot so you don't miss your opponent.
You can make the game more challenging by adding wind and a wall between you and your opponent so they can't copy your trajectory to hit you. You can also make it even more fun by challenging your friend to see who can get the first headshot.
Paddle Battle is a lot like air hockey, where you use your striker (aka mallet) to try and hit the puck into your opponent's goal while they try to do the same. Except here, instead of playing with strikers and pucks, you play with balls.
Each player controls a ball to hit an orange ball (i.e., the puck) into their opponent's goal while using the board's walls to bounce off. To win, you must be the first to score a given amount of points or have more points than your opponent when the time runs out.
To make it extra fun, you can also slightly change the board's shape to make it more challenging to maneuver your ball. A game can be as short as a minute, up to 10 minutes, or have no time limit, so you can play endlessly.
Get on Top is the game we imagine will have you and your friend laughing together in no time; it's just as fun as it is simple. Your objective in the game is to pin your opponent's head to the ground while staying on top to avoid having the same done to you.
You do this by jumping on, pulling, and pushing your opponent—all while your hands are tied to them. It's sort of like a virtual wrestling game.
What makes the game so enjoyable is seeing all the bizarre ways your characters move about as you both try to stay on top and not get pinned down. The first player to score 11 points wins.
It's fun to play games on a single PC with your friend. But what if they're located elsewhere, and you want to burn some time with them? Or what if you're going to play with your siblings who have their own PC? Check out these games that let you face off using different computers.
If you want to engage in a battle of wits, there is nothing like 1v1 browser games based on chess. Lichess is perhaps the best browser chess game to choose if you want to quickly jump into a game with a real person without signing up.
The graphics are pleasing to the eye, and you can try different time intervals. Plus, there's a chatroom, game modes (like Chess960, Antichess, and King of the Hill), and even an analysis board. Our favorite feature is that you can request to take back a move, which is wonderful when playing a game between friends.
Sudoku is a fun brainteaser, one of our favorite games for two people online. That's what Speed Sudoku is all about. Who would have thought you could play Sudoku with friends over the internet?
Sign up and create a new game or join an existing one. You can have a maximum of four players, but you can also play between just the two of you, even password-protecting your game to keep it private. While you're solving, you will also see the other players' progress in percentage, which keeps your competitive engine running.
The old board game Ludo has turned into an internet phenomenon, and Ludo King is the best app to play it on.
It features several ways to play with friends. You play locally, on the same computer, or with friends on a different computer or mobile app. You can even be on a browser while your friends use the Ludo King app.
Ludo is a simple dice-based game; you'll pick up the rules quickly. The objective is to get your four pins from the starting point to your "house." Along the way, you'll kill friends' pins by landing on the same square they're on, avoiding their attempts to get you.
On a browser, you can only play Ludo King through Facebook. You'll need a Facebook account, which lets you find friends on the social network playing the game. You can also invite friends using the app who aren't on Facebook.
Many of these 1v1 browser games are awfully competitive. How about solving a giant jigsaw puzzle online with a friend?
JigsawPuzzles.io offers a variety of puzzles to choose from, and it's easy to set up and use. To start your private session, you'll need to log in with your Google, Facebook, or Twitter account. Then, you get to choose the type of puzzle (nature, animal, street art, or anything else), the size (how many pieces it will have?), and who can help you solve it.
Once set up, send the link to your friends and begin; there's also a handy text chat within the game to talk live. Drag and drop pieces into the puzzle with your mouse—JigsawPuzzles.io assigns each player a different color to keep track of the moving hands. The game also automatically saves progress in case you must stop midway and return to it later.
We aren't sure how many people can try to solve the online jigsaw puzzle simultaneously, but in our tests, up to three friends could play smoothly simultaneously.
There are plenty of ways to play Battleship online for free , but this one is our favorite. The rules stay the same as always. Invite your friend by sending a link, set up your 10x10 grids with different battleships, declare that you're ready, and begin.
Click anywhere on your friend's grid to try to sink their battleships; you can keep playing until one of you is out of ships. If you don't have a friend online, you can also play a random game with a stranger. There are always people online looking for a quick game.
Try all the 12 games and see which one you enjoy playing the most with your friends. And for times when you want to go solo, you can also check out our list of the best free offline games on Android that don't require an internet connection.
This is a solid list of brilliant multiplayer games you can play online with friends. Even if you're hitting it solo, you'll still be able to enjoy many of these selections either alone or with a stranger.
The best part is that for most of these games, you don't need to sign up for an account, set a username, or do anything. Just go to the link and start playing right away!

What makes a games website "the best".
Alright, so when you're scoping out the best games websites , think beyond just heaps of games. It's about those high-quality graphics, user-friendly UI, and of course, a killer selection of genres – from your brain-busting puzzle games to adrenaline-pumping action games.
The real deal is finding a site that balances awesome content with a slick interface.
Safety first, right? You wanna dive into those online gaming platforms without worrying about security. Always check for HTTPS and read up on their privacy policies.
Legit sites often have user ratings and reviews, giving you the lowdown on their trustworthiness. Don't forget to peek at forums and see what the community says.
Free-to-play models are like a treasure trove! You get a variety of games, from indie gems to those addictive puzzle games, without spending a dime.
Just watch out for those in-app purchases and ads. Free sites are awesome for casual gaming, but they might lack those high-end RPGs or strategy games.
Absolutely! Multiplayer options are a big draw. You've got sites hosting everything from simple browser-based games to more complex multiplayer online games.
Whether it's teaming up in RPGs or competing in sports games, these sites are buzzing with community vibes. Just make sure the server speed is up to snuff for a smooth experience.
Variety is the spice of life, and gaming is no different. The best sites are like a buffet – offering everything from brain teasers and educational games to full-blown adventure games.
You want a site that keeps refreshing its menu, adding the latest and greatest, keeping you hooked for hours.
User reviews and ratings? Super important. They're like your compass in the vast sea of gaming websites. They clue you in on the quality of games, the user experience, and even the nitty-gritty like loading speeds and mobile compatibility.
Always give them a glance before diving into a new site.
For many gamers, graphics are a big deal. Top-tier sites often boast high-quality graphics, especially in action and strategy games.
But remember, great graphics need good hardware support, so make sure your device can handle it. Otherwise, you might be staring at a laggy mess instead of a visual feast.
Casual gamers, rejoice! There are tons of sites tailored for you. Look for ones offering puzzle games, simple adventure games, or educational games. These sites are usually more relaxed, no need for high-end hardware, and they're perfect for a quick gaming break during your day.
Staying current is key in the gaming world. Check for regular updates, new game releases, and the latest trends like VR or AR games. A good sign is when a website is buzzing with the latest in gaming news, fresh game reviews, and active community discussions.
With smartphones practically glued to our hands, mobile compatibility is a must. Many top gaming sites are optimized for mobile play, offering a solid mix of games, from casual puzzle games to more intensive RPGs.
But hey, always test it out on your device first for the best experience.
So, let's break it down. What makes a gaming website stand out? It's all about nailing the look and feel that matches the game or brand. Like, the design and colors need to be on point with the game's genre, its theme, and the whole vibe.
Now, what's super cool about these game sites? Their uniqueness and how they tell a story. It's not just about picking pretty colors. It's the whole package – themes, backgrounds, 3D models, characters – they all come together to create this world that just pulls you in.
We're talking everything from single-player adventures to multiplayer showdowns, from classic arcade vibes to brain-teasing board games, and from totally free games to those premium experiences. This collection? It's like a treasure trove for gamers who are always up for something new.
Think of it like this: visiting a gaming website is like a virtual handshake. It's that first connection that pulls players into the game's world. It's got to be quick, it's got to be slick, and it's got to make you wanna dive right in and play.

PC gaming is relentlessly pushing both the technical and creative boundaries of the industry forward: No platform can boast as beautiful and smooth graphics and as much genre variety. PC is home to everything from indie underground hits to triple-A blockbusters, from all-time great classics to the newest trends. That only begs one question: Which are the best PC games ?
If anyone, dear reader, tells you that they have the answer to that question, give them a smack on the head. There are no right answers here. Tastes are different and every preference you can imagine will find something to satisfy it on PC. However, we can give you a few pointers and show you a few big names that you absolutely should have in your library.
It doesn't matter if you're new to PC gaming or just need some inspiration for your next shopping tour on Steam, GOG, Epic Game Store, or Battle.net: You've come to the right place. Here are some of the best PC games you can play in 2024.
FromSoftware
You could easily swap this out for any game from the Dark Souls series, but Elden Ring is more recent and it’s a real masterpiece. An open-world game unlike any other, one minute it’s oppressive and the next it’s dropping your jaw (or ripping it off). Just when you think you’ve seen everything the world has to offer, there’s a whole new area hidden beneath a well or tucked behind an illusory wall for you to explore.
Triumph Studios / Paradox Interactive
Age of Wonders 4 takes player freedom and customization in turn-based 4X games to the next level: Allowing you to design your own factions to form near limitless combinations of aesthetics, bonuses, and powerful Tomes of Magic, the game is all about choices. From random events to economy management and hero equipment, you won’t ever find yourself with a lack of decisions to make – and you’ll find all of them reflected and represented in your empire.
Playground Games
Racing games are a big part of PC gaming history, but it’s typically in a slightly different gear to console, focusing on forensic simulation over arcade thrills. The Forza Horizon series proves that there’s also room for the latter. Whether you’re chasing a train or buying your hundredth whip, there’s a dizzying amount of things to do here, and they all fly by at 200kph. Oh, and if you want to show off what your PC can do, it’s a looker, too.
CD Projekt RED
Perhaps the best RPG ever made outside of Japan, The Witcher 3 is epic and all-encompassing. In it, you take control of a witcher, a kind of ronin monster hunter who takes down beasts for coin. What you don’t expect, based on that premise, are side stories about spousal abuse, class divides, and what loneliness does to a person. You can find some of video games ’ best writing in this fantasy world.
Ludeon Studios
RimWorld is... well, it's whatever you want it to be. A spritual successor of sorts to Dwarf Fortress, it gives you total freedom regarding what kind of community you want to build. You want to lead a tribe of cannibals that hate technology? Go ahead. You want to build a technological utopia where everyone sheds their weak flesh and goes on to live as cyborgs? Cool. Or you can do a myriad other things, like getting rich off of harvesting your prisoners' organs and selling them on the black market, joining an aristocratic space empire, or whatever else you can think of. Oh, and we haven't even talked about mods yet. Those are fun as well.
Paradox Interactive
Oh look, it’s a game about watching a map change color. PC gamers love those. But where Civ lets us take turns, Crusader Kings 3 plays out in real time. And that’s not where the differences end. You won’t be working your way towards modern times here. Instead, it’s all about swords and steel and disinheriting family members (or murdering them) to ensure your heir takes all the land you’ve conquered during your tenure. There’s more court scheming and, uh, family love here than on Game of Thrones and no matter how good your intentions are, it'll all end in debauchery.
Square Enix
MMORPGs on PC were dominated by World of Warcraft for ages, but Final Fantasy XIV has taken the crown in recent years. Its launch was a disaster in 2010, but its revamp in 2014 was exactly what the game needed. Since then, it’s grown stronger and stronger, releasing story expansions that many consider superior to even the mainline Final Fantasy games. If you want to lose yourself for hundreds of hours, there’s another life waiting for you here in one the best MMO games ever.
Creative Assembly
What have the Romans ever done for us? They provided us with the material for some pretty great video games , for one. Total War: Rome 2 is the most spectacular way of taking control of one of antiquity's superpowers and diving into massive battles that make you feel like you're watching a movie – though neither the game nor any esixting movies are an accurate depiction of how ancient battles looked like. Choose Rome or one of her rivals, build up your empire, fight grand battles, and keep your political opponents in check with the right dose of subterfuge. You can, in fact, build Rome in a day.
Respawn Entertainment / EA
Now we move on to the best FPS campaign ever created. One minute you’re a lithe future soldier, running across walls, parkour jumping, and popping heads as you go. The next you’re piloting a hulking mech and punching the metallic guts out of another giant robot. The level of inventiveness on display here is awe-inspiring and you won’t forget the time travel mechanic any time soon.
Rockstar Games
Rockstar ’s western is much more than GTA with horses. Sure, it’s an open-world game where you can freely wander and mess around in-between missions, but there’s a heartfelt story underpinning it all, along with some of the most memorable video game characters – and performances – ever. The world teems with life and feels like a proper ecosystem, all of it skinnable.
If there’s a list of the best games anywhere on the internet, it’s a rule that Minecraft must be on that list. We'll not break that. It’s a cultural phenomenon, boasting over one trillion views on YouTube videos of the game. Like virtual Lego, it allows its players to go wherever their imagination takes them. People have recreated entire cities, built spaceships, and even made working calculators in it. To top it off, the specs are so forgiving that it’s a perfect laptop game , it's highly modable , and you can revisit your favorite spots thanks to specific seeds .
Activision Blizzard
There aren’t as many RTS titles as there used to be in PC gaming, but maybe that’s because StarCraft II already perfected the art. Play through the story mode and every new mission throws up some fresh dynamic, some new variable, teaching you in the same way Super Mario drip feeds its mechanics. All of it is fun, but it serves one purpose: getting you ready to face other players online. Thing is, you probably never will be. High-level StarCraft players are like another species, capable of issuing hundreds of orders per minute. We’ll be over here, turtling.
ID Software
You can go back and play the original Doom right now and it’s still good, but there are plenty of modern boomer shooters that are also worth your time. Doom 2016 gets a spot on this list because it took the essence of Doom and updated it for a modern audience. Heavy metal, gore, demons, and the fiery pits of Hell await.
You can always switch this one out for Fortnite , but there’s something undeniably PC about PUBG. The clumsy movement, the identical structures unceremoniously plonked around the map, the complex inventory management – you can see the game’s roots as an ARMA mod in every aspect. It also helps to have mouse aiming precision when lining up those headshots. When you’re not, ahem, hiding in a toilet and listening to the sound of stomping enemy boots, at least. Just don't think too much about the name. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds: Battlegrounds? Really?
Supergiant games
Combining fantastic action RPG gameplay with satisfying roguelike mechanics and storytelling, and presenting it with an incredible visual style and a soundtrack fit for the gods, indie developer Supergiant Games landed a commercial and critical success with Hades. All of its elements are just perfect fits for each other with weapons that feel great to fight with, divine powers that feel awesome to unleash, and drama from the most dysfunctional family in the history of mythology that is interesting to dive into deeper. It’s also an absolute wrist-killer, but sacrifices must be made, eh?
It’s playable on Alexa and will probably come pre-installed on the brain chips of the future, but PC gaming is where Skyrim belongs. Already a beast of an RPG that you never truly finish, Skyrim’s PC mods are transformative to the experience. You can make it more pretty, add entire new questlines, and even change the mechanics of the game. That’s why Skyrim will live forever as one of the all-time greats. Todd Howard will likely also release a new edition of it every three years just because he can. And you'll buy them.
Another one where the hours simply melt away as you play for just one more turn, Civilization is essentially a game where you watch a map change color, but that’s way more exciting than it sounds. Settle cities and grow your influence through diplomacy, culture, and military might, all while trying not to get nuked by Gandhi or fending off Queen Victoria, who really wants you to be interested in a trade agreement with England.
Old-school immersive sims don’t hold up too well these days, but thankfully, Arkane Studios is carrying the torch. Inspired by games such as Thief, Dishonored 2 plonks you in a whalepunk city and tasks you with assassinating a series of targets. Using magical powers, you can teleport, turn into animals, possess people, stop time, and more. The amount of creative solutions to every encounter is mind-boggling.

The Paralympic system of classification intends to guarantee fair competition between all athletes. Athletes go through the classification process before taking part in a Paralympic competition, during which they are assessed and allocated a sport class in accordance with the degree and nature of their eligible impairments. This classification is carried out by a panel of medical and technical experts responsible for evaluating the impact of their impairment(s) on specific tasks and activities fundamental to the sport and the athlete’s sporting performance. There is no single classification system that applies to all sports due to their history and the way they are played, which is why each discipline has its own system.
Paralympic classification is a functional classification system, in which all athletes who compete in the same category are sure to have similar functional abilities in terms of movement, coordination and balance. This is why athletes with different impairments may be allocated the same sport class and compete against one another.
The classifications below are designated by a letter, typically the sport's initial (for example, S for swimming) and a number. The lower the figure, the greater the impairment—though this is not always the case.
Outfield players must be classified B1 (very low visual acuity and/or no light perception). However, to ensure fair competition, all outfield players must wear eyeshades.
The goalkeeper can be fully sighted or partially sighted (B2 or B3).
'B' stands for 'Blind.'

Boccia is split into four classes. BC1 and BC3 athletes may have assistance (BC1 are typically dependent on a powered wheelchair, BC3 can use a ramp), while BC2 and BC4 athletes compete independently.
Sports assistants for BC3 players keep their backs to the game during all innings. They are only present to carry out the player’s commands; they are not allowed to turn around to watch the game, nor are they allowed to advise the player. There is therefore a strong connection between the player and his or her assistant during a match. BC1 player’s assistants can see the pitch because they are positioned behind the playing area and intervene at the players’ request.
'BC' stands for 'Boccia'.

To be eligible, athletes must have less than 10 per cent visual acuity.
Athletes are divided into three categories ('B' = 'Blind'):
Each player must wear an opaque mask as well as an eye patch to ensure fair competition.

S / SB / SM11-13: vision impairment
In order to ensure a fair competition athletes in the S/SB11 sport class are required to wear blackened goggles.
S / SB / SM14: intellectual impairment
