2:تعلیمی سالمیت

4:نصب العین

طلباء کو اپنی زندگی کے نصب العین لیے واضح تعلیمی اہداف طے کرنے چاہئیں۔ یہ اہداف قلیل مدتی بھی ہو سکتے ہیں جیسا کہ ٹیسٹ میں ایک خاص گریڈ حاصل کرنے کے لیے کوشش کرنا، یا طویل مدتی، جیسے ڈگری کا حصول ۔ اہداف کا تعین تعلیمی کامیابی کے لیے سمت اور تحریک فراہم کرتا ہے۔

5:رہنمائی کے لیے سرگرداں رہنا

6:اساتذہ کا احترام :

طلباء کو چاہیے کہ اپنے اساتذہ کا دل وجان سے احترام کریں، اساتذہ کے ادب و احترام کے بارے میں حضرت علیؓ کا قول ہے ’’جس نے مجھے ایک لفظ پڑھایا وہ میرااُستادہے‘‘ اساتذہ ہی وہ ہستی ہیں جو طلباء کی اخلاقی اور روحانی تربیت کرکے انھیں انسان بناتے ہیں ۔

اساتذہ کے احترام کا اندازہ آپ سکندر اعظم کے اس جواب سے لگا سکتے ہیں ۔جب سکندر اعظم سے پوچھا گیا کہ استاد زیادہ قابل احترام ہے کہ باپ؟ اس نے جواب دیا کہ:” باپ مجھے آسمان سے زمین پر لایا اور استاد نے مجھے فرش سے عرش تک پہنچایا”

6:دوستوں سے حسن سلوک:

طلباء کے فرائض میں دوسرے ہم جماعتوں سے محبت اور شفقت سے پیش آنا بھی شامل ہے غریب اور نادار دوستوں کی پڑھائی اور مالی مددکرے ۔

7:شائستگی اور رواداری:

طلباء کو چاہئے کہ وہ بُری سوسائٹی سے بچیں ، مہذب اور شائستہ گفتگو کو اپنا شعار بنائیں ، فضول خرچی سے پرہیز کریں ۔

8:وطن سے محبت:

طلباء کو اپنی ذات اور خاندان کے فرائض سے بڑھ کر وطن عزیز کی خدمت کا فرض مقدم رکھنا چاہیے ۔طلباء کو چاہیے کہ پڑھائی کے دوران سیاست میں حصہ نہ لیں ہمارے ملک کا مستقبل اسی وقت اچھا ہو گا جب ہم طلباء محنت کو شعار بنائیں گے ۔ ہم اللہ رب العزت سے دعا کرتے ہیں کہ ہمارے پیارےملک ُ خداداد پاکستان کو دن دُگنی اور رات چوگنی ترقیاں نصیب ہوں ۔ (آمین)

تعلیم ایک فرد کو کام کرنے اور زندگی میں سبقت حاصل کرنے کے لیے بہتر سہولیات فراہم کرتی ہے۔ یہ ایک صحیح راستہ دیکھا کر انسان کو کامیابی کی طرف لے جاتی ہے اور یوں وہ اعلیٰ خود اعتمادی حاصل کرتا ہیں اور خوشگوار زندگی سے لطف اندوز ہوتا ہے۔ دوسری طرف، ان پڑھ لوگ احساس کمتری کا شکار ہو جاتے ہیں اور زندگی میں کبھی کامیاب نہیں ہوتے۔

ایک تعلیم یافتہ قوم اپنی نئی نسل کی پرورش ایک ان پڑھ قوم سے کہیں بہتر کر سکتی ہے۔ پڑھے لکھے لوگ اپنی قوم کی خوشحالی میں کافی اہم کردار ادا کرتے ہیں۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ تعلیم ایک مضبوط اور مستحکم قوم کا ستون ہوتی ہے۔

تعلیم ہمارے خیالات کو بھی تبدیل کرتی ہے۔ زندگی میں ہمیں کئی مشکلات کا سامنا کرنا پڑتا ہے لیکن تعلیم ان مشکلات سے نمٹنے میں ہماری مدد کرتی ہے۔ تعلیم ہمارے معاشرے سے مختلف سماجی برائیوں جیسے کہ جرائم، چھوٹے بچوں کی شادی، اور نا انصافی وغیرہ کو بھی دور کرتی ہے۔ مجموعی طور پر، ہم اپنی زندگی میں تعلیم کی اہمیت سے انکار نہیں کر سکتے۔

معاشرے کے لیے تعلیم کے فوائد

معاشرے اور قوم کی ترقی کا دارومدار تعلیم پر ہوتا ہے۔ صرف ایک تعلیم یافتہ طبقہ ہی بہتر معیار زندگی کی قیادت کر سکتا ہے۔ پائیدار ترقی، ٹیکنالوجی کا نفاذ اور تعمیری سیاسی و سماجی تبدیلی صرف تعلیم سے ہی ممکن ہے۔ لہذا، یہ معاشرے کی اصلاح اور تعمیر میں بھی کافی معاون ہوتی ہے۔

تعلیم زندگی کے ہر شعبے میں اہم ہوتی ہے۔ اس کی کمی انسان کو مجرمانہ سرگرمیوں کی طرف دھکیل دیتی ہے۔ غلط کاموں میں ملوث ہونا نہ صرف ایک شخص کی زندگی کو متاثر کرتا ہے بلکہ یہ جہالت ایک معاشرے کے زوال کا بھی سبب بنتی ہے۔

تعلیم سے ملک میں امن و امان برقرار رکھنے میں مدد ملتی ہے۔ اچھی تربیت یافتہ اور تعلیم یافتہ قوم قانون شکنی کے بجائے قانون کی پاسداری کو فروغ دیتی ہے۔ اس طرح معاشرے کا امن و امان برقرار رہتا ہے۔ دوسری طرف، ان پڑھ لوگ نہ صرف قانون شکنی کرتے ہیں بلکہ اپنی ضروریات کو پورا کرنے کے لیے چوری، ڈکیتی، قتل وغیرہ جیسی مجرمانہ سرگرمیوں کو بھی فروغ دیتے ہیں۔ یہ بالآخر معاشرے میں امن و امان کی خرابی کا باعث بنتا ہے۔

تعلیم صنفی مساوات (Gender Equality) میں بھی اہم کردار ادا کرتی ہے۔ ایک تعلیم یافتہ معاشرے میں کسی بھی انسان کو کمتر نہیں سمجھا جاتا، مرد اور عورت دونوں کے ساتھ یکساں سلوک کیا جاتا ہے۔ خواتین سمیت سب کو یکساں مواقع فراہم کیے جاتے ہیں۔ جب کہ ایک ناخواندہ اور جاہل معاشرے میں ایسا کوئی تصور نہیں ہوتا اور خواتین کو ان کے بنیادی حقوق سے بھی محروم رکھا جاتا ہے۔

نتیجہ (Conclusion)

تعلیم جہالت کے اندھیروں میں روشنی کی کرن ہوتی ہے۔ تعلیم اس دنیا پر ہر انسان کا بنیادی حق ہے۔ دنیا کی ترقی کا مکمل انحصار تعلیم پر ہوتا ہے۔ اس لیے ہمیں تعلیم کو فروغ دے کر جہالت کو دور کرنا چاہیے۔ تعلیم کی اہمیت کو واضح کرنے کے لئے، نیلسن منڈیلا نے کہا تھا کہ:

تعلیم سب سے طاقتور ہتھیار ہے جسے آپ دنیا کو بدلنے کے لیے استعمال کر سکتے ہیں۔

تعلیم کی اہمیت پر دس جملے

7) تعلیم میں اضافے کے ساتھ بے روزگاری کی شرح بھی کم ہوتی ہے۔

8) تعلیم معاشرے میں موجود معاشرتی برائیوں سے نجات کا ذریعہ ہے۔

9) یہ ہمیں اپنی قوم کو بہت بہتر بنانے کی صلاحیت فراہم کرتی ہے۔

Constitutionally, free and compulsory education is the fundamental right of all Pakistanis. It is the responsibility of the state to educate the children of the ages of 5 to 16 year. The article 25-A of the constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan reads:

“The State shall provide free and compulsory education to all children of the age of five to sixteen years in such manner as may be determined by law.”

The present education system is replete with flaws and loopholes. For the fulfilment of its responsibility of educating the public, the government needs a strong and effective education system which can deliver the desired results.

The Education System in Pakistan:

Currently, a six-tier education system in running in Pakistan which consists of the following levels:

Pre-school – children aged 3 to 5 years
Primary Education – grades/classes 1 through 5
Middle/Elementary Education – grades/classes 6 through 8
High/Secondary Education – grades/classes 9 and 10 (leading to Secondary School Certificate or SSC)
Intermediate/Higher Secondary Education – grades/classes 11 and 12 (leading to Higher Secondary School Certificate or HSSC)
University Education – undergraduate, graduate, master and doctorate degrees.

Both the federal and the provincial governments are entitled to run and oversee the literacy programs in the country. The educations running under the central and provincial governments are scattered across the country.

Education System in Pakistan Issues and Problems:

Despite the introduction and implementation of around two dozen policies and plans, the education system in Pakistan is facing numerous issues and problems of grave nature. The literacy rate is still below 60% (2016) which puts a question mark on the effectiveness of the learning infrastructure in the country.

Some of the major education system in Pakistan issues and problems are listed below:

Low Budget Allocation:

Pakistan is one of the countries in the world with lowest budgetary allocation for education. She spends only 2% of its national GDP on education. Consequently, millions of children are out of school in the country, i.e. they are deprived of their fundamental (constitutional) right to free and compulsory education. So, the budgetary allocation for education should be increased from 2 to 7 percent.

Corruption:

While the budget for education is already insufficient, the corrupt elements in the management structure further aggravate the situation by filling their pockets through illegitimate means. So, corruption can be regarded as one of the major factors contributing to the failure of educational policies in Pakistan.

Political Instability:

The unstable political environment also affects the efficiency of education system in Pakistan. Political agitations pose hindrance to the implementation of government policies for improving the standard and quality of learning.

Terrorism and Insecurity:

In the recent past, the country has witnessed a wave of inhuman terrorist attacks on the educational institutions. For example, in the years from 2009 to 2013, as many as 642 attacks were launched by the enemies of education and of humanity. So, the parents feel reluctant to send their children to school. On the other hand, the school going children have to study in an insecure and fearful environment which affects the quality of education.

Untrained Teachers:

As less educated and untrained teachers are employed in the schools, they are unable to impart a good quality education to the students.

Lack of Check and Balance:

The lack of proper check and balance promotes negligent behavior on the part of the administrators, educationists and the educators. If the individuals shirking from their responsibilities are brought to book, the education system in Pakistan can significantly be improved.

Poor Infrastructure:

The poor infrastructure, poorly equipped classrooms and debilitating learning environment make major contribution to the inability and failure of education system in Pakistan to deliver the desired results.

Though the government has launched educational reforms to make the education totally free for the children from poor backgrounds, poverty is still a big hindrance on the way to education. The poor parents prefer making their children economic supporters of the family rather than sending them to schools.

Other education in Pakistan issues and problems include unequal standards of education in the public and private section institutions, lack of technical education, regional disparity, unequal educational opportunities for male and female students, and so on.

تعلیم پر مضمون, تعلیم کیا ہے؟.

تعلیم اسکول، کالج، یونیورسٹی اور مدارس سے ملنے والی ڈگری کا نام نہیں ہے؛ بلکہ یہ تمیز و تہذیب، احساسات و جذبات اور فکر و خیالات کو بہتر بنانے کا دوسرا نام ہے۔

تعلیم صرف چند کتابیں پڑھ لینے، اور مختلف اشیاء کے نام اور ان کے حقائق جان لینے کا نام نہیں؛ بلکہ تعلیم وہ ہے جو انسان کو انسان بناتی ہے۔ انسان میں انسانیت پیدا کرتی ہے۔ اس کی ذات سے جہالت کی تاریکی کو ختم کرکے اسے علم کی روشنی سے روشن کرتی ہے۔ اس کے شعور بیدار کرکے اسے دیگر حیوانات سے ممتاز کرتی ہے۔ تعلیم وہ ہے جو انسان کو زندگی کا ایک مقصد دیتی ہے، اور ساتھ ہی اس کے حصول کے بہتر اور مناسب ذرائع کی طرف رہنمائی کرتی ہے۔

ایک بے مقصد زندگی گذارنے والا انسان عام جاندار کی طرح ہوتا ہے، بالفرض اگر ایسے انسان کے پاس کوئی مقصد ہو بھی لیکن اس کے حصول کے لیے اس کے پاس مناسب اور جائز ذرائع کا علم نہ ہو تو وہ اپنے مقصد کے حصول میں دوسروں پر ظلم کرنے لگتا ہے، دوسروں کے حقوق کا اسے خیال نہیں رہتا اور وہ حدود سے تجاوز کرنے لگتا ہے، اور یوں اس کا یہ عمل اسے عام جانداروں کی صف میں لا کھڑا کرتا ہے۔ اور بعض دفعہ وہ ایسے ایسے کام کر بیٹھتا ہے کہ انسانیت بھی شرمسار ہوجاتی ہے۔

تعلیم کی اہمیت

علم کی مثال روشنی کی طرح ہے، اور تعلیم کا مطلب روشنی کو تقسیم کرنا۔ روشنی کسے پسند نہیں؟ شبِ تاریک میں ماہتاب، اندھیرے کمرے میں قُمقُمے کسے اچھے نہیں لگتے؟ ٹھیک یہی بات علم پر صادق آتی ہے۔ وہ علم ہی ہے جس نے آدم علیہ السلام کو فرشتوں سے افضل بنایا۔ وہ علم ہی ہے جس کی وجہ سے انسان کو اشرف المخلوقات کا لقب ملا۔ اور علم کو دوسروں تک پہنچانا اور اس کو تقسیم کرنا ہی تعلیم ہے۔ لہذا ہمیں تعلیم کو عام کرنے کی ہر ممکن کوشش کرنی چاہیے۔ اس کے حصول کو آسان بنانا چاہیے؛ تاکہ ہر شخص آسانی سے تعلیم حاصل کرسکے۔

تعلیم کی اہمیت قرآن کریم میں

قُلْ ھَلْ یَسْتَوِيْ الَّذِیْنَ یَعْلَمُوْنَ وَ الَّذِیْنَ لَا یَعْلَمُوْنَ، إنَّمَا یَتَذَکَّرُ أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ۔ (الزمر آیة: ۹) ترجمہ: ’’(اے نبی) کہہ دیجیے! کیا علم رکھنے والے اور علم نہ رکھنے والے برابر ہوسکتے ہیں۔ نصیحت تو وہی حاصل کرتے ہیں جو عقل والے ہیں۔‘‘

اسی طرح دوسری جگہ اندھا اور بینا، تاریکی اور روشنی کی مثال دے کر جاننے والے اور نہ جاننے والے، تعلیم یافتہ اور غیر تعلیم یافتہ افراد کے درمیان فرق کو واضح کیا گیا۔ ارشاد ربانی ہے: قُلْ ھَلْ یَسْتَوِيْ الْأَعْمیٰ وَ الْبَصِیْرُ؟ أَمْ ھَلْ تَسْتَوِيْ الظُّلُمَاتُ وَ النُّوْرُ؟ (الرعد، آیۃ: ۱۶) ترجمہ: کہہ دیجیے! کیا اندھا اور دیکھنے والا برابر ہوسکتے ہیں؟ یا کہیں اندھیرا اور اجالا برابر ہوسکتے ہیں؟

بچہ کا سب سے پہلا مدرسہ و اسکول

بچہ کا سب سے پہلا مدرسہ و اسکول اس کی ماں کی گود، اس کا گھر اور خاندان ہے۔ جس طرح بچہ اپنی ماں کو کرتا ہوا دیکھتا ہے، وہ انہی سے سیکھتا ہے، اور ویسا ہی کرتا ہے۔ اپنے بھائی بہنوں، اپنے گھر خاندان کے لوگوں سے سب سے پہلے سیکھتا ہے، اس کے بعد اسکول اور مدرسے کا نمبر آتا ہے۔ اس لیے والدین اور خاندان والوں کی پہلی ذمہ داری ہے کہ وہ بچوں کی تعلیم و تربیت پر اچھے طریقے سے دھیان دیں؛ تاکہ اسکول و مدرسے کی تعلیم اس کے لیے زیادہ نفع بخش اور مفید ہوسکے۔

تعلیم کے حصول کے لیے قابل اساتذہ کی ضرورت

تعلیم کے حصول کے لیے قابل اساتذہ بھی بے حد ضروری ہیں، جو بچوں کو اعلیٰ تعلیم کے حصول میں مدد فراہم کرتے ہیں۔ استاذ وہ نہیں جو محض چار کتابیں پڑھاکر اور کچھ کلاسز لے کر اپنے فرائض سے مبرّا ہوگیا؛ بلکہ استاذ وہ ہے جو طلباء و طالبات کی پوشیدہ صلاحیتوں کو اجاگر کرتا ہے۔ ان کی سوئی ہوئی خوبیوں کو بیدار کرتا ہے۔ اور انہیں شعور و ادراک، علم و آگہی نیز فکر و نظر کی دولت سے مالامال کرتا ہے۔ ان کے اندر سے بری خصلتوں کو مٹاکر انہیں عمدہ اخلاق سے مُزَیَّن کرتا ہے۔ ان کو اس طرح تراشتا ہے جیسے جوہری ہیرے جواہرات کو تراشتا ہے، تب جاکر معاشرہ اور ملک و قوم کے لیے انمول افراد بن پاتے ہیں، جن سے ایک صالح اور برائیوں سے پاک معاشرہ وجود میں آتا ہے۔ اور ملک دن دوگنی رات چوگنی ترقی کرنے لگتا ہے۔

تعلیم کی اہمیت پر چند جملے

(1) تعلیم کے بغیر ہم اپنی زندگی میں کامیابی حاصل نہیں کرسکتے۔ (2) تعلیم اپنے مستقبل کو روشن اور تابناک بنانے کا ایک اہم ذریعہ ہے۔ (3) معاشرتی و ملکی برائیوں کو ختم کرنے میں اہم کردار ادا کرتی ہے۔ (4) تعلیم فرد، معاشرہ اور ملک کی ترقی میں اہم رول نبھاتی ہے۔ (5)کوئی ملک اور قوم تعلیم کے بغیر ترقی نہیں کرسکتی۔ (6) تعلیم ہی کے ذریعے انسان صحیح غلط اور نفع و نقصان کے درمیان امتیاز کرپاتا ہے۔ (7) تعلیم جہالت کے اندھیروں میں روشنی کی کرن کی طرح کام کرتی ہے۔

دوسری بات یہ کہ لڑکے اور لڑکیوں کو اپنی بعد کی زندگی میں معاشرے میں ایک ساتھ رہنا ہے اور اگر ابتداء ہی سے انہیں ایک ساتھ پڑھایا جائے تو وہ ایک دوسرے کو اچھی طرح سمجھ سکتے ہیں اور لڑکوں کی موجودگی میں لڑکیاں شرم محسوس نہیں کریں گی۔ لڑکے لڑکیوں کو بھی تنگ نہیں کریں گے۔
اگر انہیں ایک ساتھ پڑھایا جائے تو اس سے ان میں صحت مند مسابقت کا احساس پیدا ہوگا۔ اس طریقے سے وہ سخت محنت کریں گے اور اپنی تعلیم پر سنجیدہ توجہ دیں گے۔ لڑکوں اور لڑکیوں کے مابین کامریڈ شپ کا احساس بھی فروغ پائے گا۔ لڑکے شام کو چھیڑنے میں ملوث نہیں ہوں گے اور لڑکیاں لڑکوں سے خوفزدہ نہیں ہونگی۔ اس طرح ان کی شخصیت میں متوازن ترقی ہوگی۔
یہ بھی ایک عام تجربہ ہے کہ لڑکے لڑکیوں کی صحبت میں مہذب سلوک کرتے ہیں۔ وہ لڑکیوں کی موجودگی میں کھردری اور مکروہ زبان استعمال نہیں کرتے ہیں۔ وہ بھی مناسب لباس پہنتے ہیں اور اچھے انداز سے بات کرتے ہیں۔ اسی طرح لڑکیاں بھی لڑکوں کے ساتھ اپنا خوف کھو بیٹھیں گی اگر وہ ان کے ساتھ پڑھائی جائیں گی تو دوسری طرف اگر لڑکوں اور لڑکیوں کو الگ اسکولوں میں پڑھایا جاتا ہے تو لڑکے لڑکیوں کے ساتھ بدتمیزی کرتے ہیں۔ ان کے بارے میں جاننے کے لیے ان لڑکوں کو ہمیشہ ایک تجسس رہتا ہے۔ لیکن جب وہ ایک ساتھ تعلیم حاصل کرتے ہیں تو ان کا تجسس مطمئن ہوجاتا ہے اور وہ لڑکیوں کو عجیب و غریب مخلوق نہیں سمجھتے ہیں۔

اس طرح اگر شریکِ تعلیم کو متعارف کرایا گیا تو طلباء میں نظم و ضبط کا کوئی مسئلہ نہیں ہوگا۔ مغربی ممالک میں اسکولوں میں لڑکوں اور لڑکیوں کے مابین کوئی علیحدگی نہیں ہے۔

شریک تعلیم کے نقصانات

یقیناً کچھ قدامت پسند لوگ شریکِ تعلیم کے نظام پر تنقید کرتے ہیں۔ ان کے مطابق یہ نظام ہماری روایت کے منافی ہے۔ انہیں یہ خوف بھی ہے کہ شریک تعلیم لڑکے اور لڑکیوں کے مابین غیر اخلاقی تعلقات استوار کر دے گی۔ انہیں یقین ہے کہ اس نظام میں لڑکے اور لڑکیاں دونوں خراب ہوجائیں گے۔ لیکن ان دلائل میں زیادہ پانی نہیں ہوتا ہے۔

ارتکاز کا فقدان

شریکِ تعلیم کے نظام میں حراستی کی کمی ایک عام نقصان ہے۔ مخالف جنس کی طرف جذباتی طور پر راغب ہونا فطری بات ہے جو کسی کی تعلیم اور ترقی کے لئے نقصان دہ ہو سکتی ہے۔ کشور کچلنے کی تعلیم عام تعلیم کے نظام میں عام طور پر دیکھنے میں آتی ہے۔

جنسی طور پر ہراساں

شریکِ تعلیم کے سب سے زیادہ شدید نقصانات میں سے ایک جنسی طور پر ہراساں کرنے اور چھیڑ چھاڑ میں اضافے کا بھی ہے۔ مخلوط اسکولنگ سسٹم میں جنسی زیادتیاں ہراساں کرنے کے حوالے سے بہت ساری اطلاعات موصول ہوئی ہیں۔ یہ معاشرے کی ثقافت اور اقدار کے لئے نقصان دہ ہے۔

روایات کے خلاف

بہت سے لوگوں کا خیال ہے کہ شریکِ تعلیم کا نظام ان کی روایات اور ثقافتوں کے خلاف ہے۔ لہذا یہ اکثر معاشرے میں دراڑ پیدا کرتا ہے۔ مزید یہ کہ تیسری دنیا کے ممالک میں بہت سارے لوگ اکثر اپنی تعلیم کو مخلوط تعلیم یا مخلوط اسکولوں کی تعلیم کی بنیاد پر اسکول جانے پر پابندی لگاتے ہیں۔
حقیقت یہ ہے کہ باہمی تعلیم کے بہت سارے فوائد ہیں جب لڑکوں اور لڑکیوں کو بعد میں شوہر اور بیوی کی حیثیت سے زندہ رہنا پڑتا ہے۔ ان کو اسکولوں میں الگ کرنے کی ضرورت نہیں ہے۔ بلکہ یہ انہیں ایک دوسرے کے قریب آنے اور ایک دوسرے کو پوری طرح سمجھنے کا موقع فراہم کرے گا۔ ہمیں قرون وسطی کے زمانے کی اخلاقیات پر یقین نہیں کرنا چاہئے۔ دنیا آج تیزی سے بدل رہی ہے اور معاشرے میں خواتین کو مردوں کے ساتھ ایک مساوی درجہ دیا جارہا ہے۔ آئیے لہذا بدلتے ہوئے حکم کو قبول کریں اور مستقبل میں زیادہ سے زیادہ شریک تعلیمی ادارے کھولیں اور الگ الگ اداروں کو الوداع کہیں۔
