CBSE 12th Physical Education Sample Question Paper 2023: Central Board of Secondary Education will be conducting the physical education exam on 13th March 2023. Candidates appearing for the exam must check the sample question paper. The CBSE 12th Physical Education Sample Question Paper 2023 will enable candidates to define the type of question asked in the exam along with the question paper pattern. Students appearing for the exam can solve the sample question paper to determine the section he/she needs to work on. The overall weightage of the CBSE 12th physical education question paper will be 70 Marks. Students will be given 3 hours to answer all the questions in the exam. The question paper will consist of 5 sections where there will be MCQ-type questions along with the very short answer type, short answer type questions and case studies.

Here are the important instructions related to the physical education question paper 2023:

• The CBSE Class 12th Physical Education question paper will consist of 5 sections and 37 question
• Students need to answer all the questions in 3 hours (180 minutes)
• Section A consists of 18 MCQ questions having a weightage of 1 Mark each.
• Section B consists of 6 very short answer type questions 2 marks each. Candidates need to complete the answer in 60-90 words.
• The section consists of 6 short answer type questions with a weightage of 3 marks each. Candidate needs to answer any 5 questions in 100 to 150 words
• Section D consists of 3 questions (case studies) 4 marks each.
• Lastly, Section C consists of 4 questions of 5 marks each. Candidates need to complete the answer in 200-300 words.

Question 1: Read the following points of comparison between electric and magnetic fields   carefully. 

i. Both Coulomb’s law and Biot‐ Savart’s laws follow inverse square law. 

ii. Both electric and magnetic field values depend upon the angle between the  displacement vector and the field source. 

iii. Electric  field  is  produced  by  a  scalar  source  whereas  magnetic  field  is  produced by a vector source. 

iv. The direction of the magnetic field is along the displacement vector joining  the  field  source  and  field  point.  On  the  other  hand,  the  electric  field  is  perpendicular to the plane containing the displacement vector joining the field  source and the field point.

Question 2: A deuteron and an alpha particle move with the same kinetic energy under the 

effect of identical magnetic fields.

Question 7:  A wire of length L carrying a current I can be turned into a circular coil of  N turns. For what turned value of N, will the magnetic moment of this current carrying

• A  freely  suspended  magnetic  dipole  in  a  uniform  magnetic  field  always turns to align parallel to the external magnetic field.
