It seems that a student should spend the least time on the making of a cover page when it comes to preparing a chemistry assignment since it is quite a difficult subject. Giving less or no attention to making a cover page is completely wrong perception.

It should be noted that sometimes, the efforts put in making the assignment become useless when the instructor does not pay attention to it because of not having an attractive cover page.

In any type of academic work, making a cover page is considered to be very important. Nowadays, an assignment and performance of a student are assessed on the basis of efforts he has put on making the cover page.

The assignment these days is also assessed on the basis of what the cover page elaborates about it and how it is going to attract the reader.

A cover page of chemistry assignment, if prepared effectively enables the reader to know about various facts about the assignment on the basis of which he develops some expectations with the work in the assignment which is yet to be checked.

How to make the chemistry assignment cover page?

  • Before you get down with the cover page of your chemistry assignment, make sure that you have evaluated the entire time frame in which the assignment, as well as cover page, should be completed. It is recommended to review the work thoroughly on which you are going to work. If your assignment requires hard work, you can choose a readymade template for your assignment cover page in order to save time. However, if you have plenty of time after writing the entire assignment, you can make the assignment cover page by yourself.
  • There is a specific format to be followed while writing the assignment defined by your institute. For example, your chemistry teacher may want you to format your assignment in APA referencing style. Make sure that you format your cover page according to the referencing style used in the assignment.
  • There are few elements of the cover page that are attractive and informative at the same time. It should be ascertained that you have added these elements to the cover page. These elements include name, roll number of the student, date of assignment submission, name of the subject, title of assignment etc.
  • The font style that you choose for your cover page completely depends on the design. However, Times New Roman is always recommended when the cover page is made for an academic purpose.
  • The background color of the cover page also pays a very important role in its design. A wrongly chosen cover page can spoil the entire design and also your impression in the mind of the instructor.
  • The color of the font should also be in accordance with the background. White background with black font is most decent and official as well. The students are recommended to use this color scheme. However, it is not a rule or something a student is bound to follow.

A classic combination of red and black, this cover page is portraying the right essence of the subject. The top red portion highlights the title of the assignment while the bottom black portion provides a brief description of what the assignment is all about. The cover page is overall easy to understand and easy to attract as well. It would be a nice choice for the writer to go for this cover page.

This cover page has a unique combination of indigo and deep purple. It has a smart look and appealing to the viewer. The picture shown is beaker filled with a solution. As chemistry revolves around solvents, solutions, chemicals, their experiments, and the reactions, this cover page is designed for the purpose of the subject it caters to. The heading of the assignment comes on the center block of the page while its short description can come on the bottom.

This is such an amazing and creative cover page that is so attractive. The color combination is perfect. The idea shown goes well with the concept of the subject. While the geometric design on the left compliment it to make it more exclusive. The heading of the assignment is to be mentioned on the top with the short tagline beneath; the name of the writer is placed on the bottom right corner. Overall it is a must go to cover page.

The fourth cover page shown here is simple and elaborating an experiment going on, hence depicting it as the cover page of a chemistry assignment. There is a lot going on in one cover page, round bottom flask filled with a solution with some reaction going on and test tubes at the end. The space above and below picture diagram has enough space to be utilized to mention the name of the writer, the title of the assignment and its date of submission. The colors are mild while the look is soft and decent.

Here is the fifth and last cover page, showing a pictorial representation of round bottom flask and test tubes with molecular structure background. Light blue color is giving prominence to the picture and the heading of the assignment. The upper half portion covered by the diagram gives a quick idea of the subject of the assignment even if it does not say that it is a chemistry assignment. The lower area displays the assignment details and the details of the student submitting it.
