If I Were A Millionaire Essay

500 words if i were a millionaire essay.

Money is a crucial necessary element without which survival is unfeasible. One cannot compare money with love and care because both are equally essential for our life to sustain happily. Each part has its significance and plays a different role. Every person on earth wishes to become a millionaire and change their prevailing conditions to offer a better future for themselves. I dream of becoming a millionaire so that I can provide things for my family, which they have always longed for.

If I were a Millionaire

I belong to a middle-class family. My mother, father, elder sister, and I are four of us. My parents have always supported us and given us all that was possible for them. I could see the struggle behind their smile and happiness, but they never said anything. We live in a small house, trying to adjust ourselves to the restricted space. So, the first thing I will buy is a big house with a vast garden and a balcony. My father loves painting, so I would buy him expensive canvas board, paints and brushes and tell him to paint the best picture he could ever imagine. Since my mother loves plants, I would help her set up the garden of her dreams.

My sister is into makeup and styling, so I would shop enough to give her all she desires. Also, I would buy a car for us and travel across the nation. A trip to Disneyland and a Europe tour would be booked for the four of us. Moreover, I would visit Japan, the country I have been eyeing for years. In the words of H. Jackson Brown Jr, “Remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more.” I completely subscribe to the statement, as giving increases our chances to receive goods in abundance. So that money that comes pouring to me should be showered on the people who require them the most.

Future minds need to comprehend and value what they get from nature and their role as givers. Medical treatment is the most expensive thing in India because people die. So, I would build a hospital catering to the needs of the underprivileged and needy section of our society and ensure that they receive treatment without any bias at a cheap cost. Furthermore, I would open a school where practical learning holds more substance than rote learning. This school will provide education to poor children who cannot afford admission to regular schools.

I will provide basic amenities to the remote areas. I would even erect schools in rural areas where the children of farmers learn while working in the fields. Schools and a free library will be opened to access various books in different languages. In such a way, they will have a pool of diverse knowledge. The nursing homes and orphanages will be donated money as and when required. The people who face unemployment will be provided financial aid until they get stable and find a job.

For me, to become a millionaire requires dedication and belief in myself. I need to work hard to achieve what I want in my life. Simply wishing and not displaying actions won’t suffice. Therefore, I should pray harder and study well to help others. In doing so, I need to set up a business of my own to keep on going and doing what I desire for others. Lastly, I don’t want to exist and make a living; I want to make a life by what I give. By being a millionaire, my objective will be to utilise my wealth in the interest of society.

Long Essay on If I Were A Millionaire! 500 Words for Kids and Students in English

We often hear elderly people advising the young ones to forget the past, ignore the future and care for the present. But there is hardly any one who has no ambition for a higher status than the present one. This constant struggle for a higher position sticks to man till the last day of his life, This is true of every human being right from the man in the street to the most celebrated personality of the world. This struggle, in fact, is essential for achieving the more pious objectives in life.

I belong to the middle strata of the Indian society. I can never think of earning millions of rupees. But God has His own ways. Who knows, I might win a lottery! And if I ever win it, I cannot say whether I would be able to enjoy it. Let me suppose that I am fortunate to win a lottery of millions of rupees! I shall try to spend it in the most judicious manner so that I am able to derive maximum pleasure out of it.

My colleagues advise me that first of all, I should try to improve my living conditions. I should have a huge mansion to live in, a car for the family and gadgets used in modern living. But my concept of life is quite different. Instead of improving my lot, I am much more interested in uplifting the poor masses of the country.

India is a developing country. There are many people in India who hardly get two square meals a day. How could they enjoy the comforts and luxuries of life? They are poorly fed and ill-clad. A large number of these people live in villages where the main occupation is agriculture. In villages, the old bullock-carts are still used though the advanced countries have adopted mechanised farming. I shall offer them loans at a very nominal interest so as to enable them to purchase tractors, fertilisers and better seeds. This scheme would save the villagers from the wicked village money-lenders and would also increase their agricultural production levels.

I shall invest a good portion of money in setting up a hospital with all the modern amenities. I shall also employ highly qualified doctors. This hospital would run for the poor masses. The rich classes could donate generously for this noble cause. This can save poor people from the jaws of death.

Therefore, if I become a millionaire, my sole objective would be to utilise this money for the greatest good of the greatest number of people. To help the poor, feed the hungry, nurse the sick and improve the plight of the people, would be my major objective.

If I Were A Millionaire! Essay

Many people, particularly villagers, have no means of recreation. I would spend a part of my wealth for providing means of recreation to the poor. I would open various social and educational centres in the rural areas of the country.

I am pained to learn that there is no adequate provision for supporting orphans and widows. I would, therefore, open new centres for widows and orphans. They would work and earn their livelihood honourably. This would certainly protect the interest of our downtrodden masses.

There would be people who would jeer and mock at the utter foolishness of spending millions of rupees in this manner. Probably, they do not realise that a man gets spiritual happiness by helping the poor and this joy is much more true than the sensual pleasures that one gets from the money he possesses. Money spent in the aforementioned manner would give me solace and peace of mind in case I became a millionaire.

English for Students

If wishes were horses, even beggars would ride. But sometimes dream come true. I am poor in life and my wishes are hopelessly small. I live in a state of uncertainty and I never know whether I shall be able to afford my next meal.

But there is no check on one’s fancy. Fancy is my luxury. I wish I were a millionaire!

As a poor man, I have often experienced that Rich men are generally selfish to the extent of being cruel. Their outlook on life is not human but materialistic. They forget that to be rich is not to be in human. When I am rich, I shall not forget god and god’s men.

I long to lead some days in comfort. Money will end the state of uncertainty in which I live. Riches are a panacea. Poverty loses friends and makes one disrespectable and unacceptable in society. Wealth attracts and makes one honorable.

If I were a millionaire, I would be in the company of rich friends and would be honorable. But being a millionaire is only a part of my desire.

I know I get education under very difficult circumstances. So I shall open schools and colleges for the education of all. My great aim in life is to establish a univesierty in the model of ancient Indian universities. I want to go back to our old culture which was once the pride of the world.

A wealthy man can do much good to this world. Wealth often spoils man. Money along with comforts and care brings evil also. Rich men are generally victims to one evil or the other. I have natural dislike for the base and the disreputable. I was born human and shall live a pious and noble life. This duty openly man owns to god. I shall fulfill this duty. I shall set a noble example before others and shall be a brilliant light for misguided millionaires.

I would very much wish to encourage social service in the country. I shall make a trust which will look after the welfare of orphans. It is a pity that in our country wealthy persons do not possess charitable qualities. I shall lead a noble life and cut down my own expenses so that I may help others to live better.

I am a noble-hearted and simple person. That is what I could remain even if I become a millionaire.
